LEGO LEGO

In the middle of July I will be visiting Legoland and desided that I should "warm up" by finally watching LEGO - the movie. It has kicked me into a Lego mania. The "everything is awesome" tune is some times stuck to my brain and I was really impressed with the mix of the different Lego worlds and the effects used.

So I collected my favorite links about how they created the movie.

Aiden Sarsfield mentions how they used this software to create sets LEGO Digital Designer. Though I feel more like bringing all my childhood lego down from my parents attic.

BRINGING THE KARPORT BLOG BACK TO LIFE

Since I started the CG Artist bachelor education back in 2008, I have been blog’ing my drawings, images of school assignment and all kinds of strange things I was involved in. The format was simple: a title with pictures and little or no explanation. When graduating and becoming a more professional artist, I struggled with the KARPORT BLOG and slowly the blog died.

In 2013 I experimented with creating a blog-slash-portfolio on wordpress, but ended up hating it. Instead I created a portfolio on cargo collective and I started blogged with the Jellyfish Act about showreels, which was super fun, learning full and intense for a untrained blogger.

Lately I have been nostalgic about personal progress blogging and I've decided that the time has come; I am bringing the KARPORT BLOG back to life.
