LEGOLAND

A great trip to LEGOLAND ! where we visited the many playful universes inside the park. We became the wild indians Kække Fjer & Luskede Svale and sailed in canoes trough the rivers of the wild west, we went diving for the lost city atlantis, went on adventures in adventure land - where we river rafted like the Vikings we are, went to the 4D cinema to watch an episode of Chima - with a farting skunk and plenty of magic and we explored the haunted house with the crazy scientist. I think Legoland is the greatest theme park in Denmark, simply because the universes within the park is really detailed and open for play.

The most amazing thing in Legoland is the Miniland. the details and the imagination is stunning. They have a new element in Miniland this year; Lego Friends. I know the toys of this universe have generated a lot of critique for being too sexist. But really, I don't think it is bad. I actually find it refreshing to see pink and purple bricks mixed with the usual lego palette. The Friends mini figures bothers me a bit, but mostly because they don't look like the figures i grew up with. The universe seems diverse, with women working in many professions (magicians, karate masters, etc) and having fun with cool hobbies.
